Large pastoral areas are a defining feature of landscapes in this part of the Massif central mountain range in France. Visitors of a local land art event called Horizons "Arts-Nature" in 2025 voted the Danish artist Gleb Dusavitski's "Horizon Listeners" as their favourite work. These two characters were clearly looking toward the future, and were nothing of a traditional local feature. To me, this is a reminder that our landscapes will need to change as we are shifting towards net-zero, and that we will be able to build consensus on a preferred option.
